It was an exciting weekend in the Ainsley household. Grandma T visited from Minnesota, rounding out an exciting 5 weeks of visitors before we head to Minnesota for Christmas. We fit in a lot over the weekend. The first event of note was a reunion brunch with the two couples in our birth class, hosted by our wonderful instructor, Nancy. Draya, Beth and I met in a prenatal yoga class and Nancy (Draya’s mom) came out of “retirement” to teach the class to us all. Here we are with our new baby girls:

L-R: Josh, Beth, Lilly Anna, Draya, Azalea, Jack, Andi, Ainsley, and Josh

Saturday night we headed to Kevin and Marygold’s for their occasionally-annual regifting party. Here’s one of my favorite pictures from the weekend, with Ainsley giving one of my favorite expressions of hers, which was taken at the party:

We ended the weekend with dinner at our apartment on Sunday night with my Uncle Oleh, Aunt Diane, and Cousin Natasha, who live an hour away in Endicott.

Other highlights from the past week (Ainsley’s sixth!) included …

… a new hat her grandma knit for her (in Ithaca High School colors and which happens to match a hat my mom knit for Josh last year)

Craft Time

Andi's been crafting away.  She's starting on felt blocks, finished a couple of stuffed toys, and still dreams of a quilt.

The tree is actually not quite finished while we find a rattle to stick in the middle.  The chick is one of dozens of little toys Andi has planned.

New, Improved?

Hey all, we're switching things up, or at least thinking about it.  We'll try using this blog sight for a while and see what comes of it.

The Happy Couple

Andi and I wanted to create a spot to share the wedding celebration with those who could not be there. We'll also try to get as many photos as possible up. Please send me (jjw53@cornell.edu) any digital phots you'd be willing to share.
Thanks so much,
The Woodwards
